Gulf Coast-Based Physician - Thomas Yearwood, Md, Phd To Present At London Spine Pain Symposium

Dr. Thomas L. Yearwood, of Comprehensive Pain & Rehabilitation in Biloxi and Pascagoula, and Medical Director of Pain Consultants ASC, will be a keynote speaker at the London Spine Pain Symposium on November 25-27, 2015. Dr. Yearwood's topic will be The Future of Pain Interventions in the Management of Lower Back Pain."
The London Spine Pain Symposium is designed for those healthcare professionals who specialize in treating patients with spinal pain. The aim is to enhance the knowledge and skill of clinicians in the state of art interventional procedures in management of chronic refractory spinal pain. The three-day course consists of one day of lectures on recent advances in spine pain conditions including basic science, diagnosis and management.
This will be followed by two days cadaver workshops to enable delegates to have hands on experience of minimally invasive techniques under guidance of an international expert faculty. A graduate of the LSU School of Medicine, Dr. Yearwood completed his internship and surgical residency at the University of Washington. He possesses a Phd in Biomechanical Engineering, and an anesthesiology residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch. Through clinical and regulatory research over the last 25 years and as a member of the International Neuromodulation Society, Dr. Yearwood has made significant contributions to clinical neuroscience.”
