Comprehensive Pain and Rehabilitation COVID 19 Preparation Plan

How We Support Your Health and Safety

In March 2020, Comprehensive Pain and Rehabilitation formed a COVID 19 committee comprised of company leadership to ensure that we would be prepared as a company to resond to the new challenges the pandemic has created. We have implemented the following policies to hep keep our patients and staff safe.

  1. We have telehealth appointments available for follow-up patients and select in-office appointments including new patient appointments, clinic procedures and elective procedures were re-instated in our ambulatory surgery center on April 27, 2020 in accordance with Executive Order 1477 issued by Mississippi Governor Tate Reeves (signed April 24, 2020).
  2. Our staff conducts regular cleaning of equipment and surfaces using disinfectant cleaning supplies throughout the day. Additionally, we engage a professional cleaning company to do frequent and comprehensive cleaning of our facility.
  3. Our waiting rooms have been rearranged to allow for social distancing. We strive to put patients directly into rooms and process you through your appointment as quickly as possible to allow for social distancing.
  4. Staff is required to use PPE such as face masks while in our offices and to use proper hand washing techniques and hand sanitizer to decrease the risk of transmission. Staff members are screened daily for COVID 19 symptoms and instructed to stay home if they have symptoms.
  5. We are screening patients through pre-op and pre-clinic visit questionnaires as well as taking temperatures outside of patient care areas. Staff and patients are required to wear a mask inside the facility.
  6. Signs are placed at the entrances of all locations advising patients with COVID 19 symptoms not to enter.

Together We Can:

  • Use hand sanitizer and/or wash your hands frequently for at least 20 seconds with soap and water.
  • Avoid touching eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
  • Wear a mask or face covering anytime you are in public whether or not you are experiencing symptoms. We ask that all patients wear a mask to clinic and surgery center appointments.

Our leadership team is constantly monitoring updates from experts such as the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and our local public health departments, local government agencies and continuing to follow instructions and recommendations issued. Thank you for your ongoing support in helping us to meet your health care needs safely and efficiently.
